Welcome to Fun With Words

I would like to welcome you to Fun With Words, my personal blog for teaching English. This blog has been created to encourage my English students from 4th of ESO to study this beautiful language with joy and enthusiasm. 

As a teacher, I am aware that some students do not enjoy learning English. For some of them, English may even become a difficult subject to pass due to their lack of motivation to learn it.

Taking this into account, I am going to post a weekly activity or task where I will use fun and contemporary cultural material from TV series, films, music or books to boost my students' motivation to learn English. These activities will contain contemporary vocabulary and cover everyday life through fun activities.

Nowadays, young learners are used to using ICT tools in their everyday lifeareSometimes it might get a little bit boring to study a language, because teachers tend to repeat the same kind of exercises once and again in class. But we don't have to forget that the real objective to learn English is to be able to understand other English speakers and to read any kind of articles of our interest.

Does it ring a bell the title Fun With Flags? I'm sure you know the TV series Big Bang Theory!
